If you’ve ever sold something on Marketplace and you’re preparing for the buyer to come and pick it up….where do you make that exchange? Do you ever feel slightly uncomfortable having a stranger come to your home to pick up the item / or maybe having to meet them in a parking lot? Do you feel safe? That’s why “The SAFE TRADE ZONE” was established. It’s now open, and offered by our police service.
It’s located at the Police headquarters, 1200 Balmoral Street. There’s designated parking spaces to make your exchange. It’s well lit, and there’s even surveillance cameras. This is a fabulous idea! THANK YOU THUNDER BAY POLICE for this service.
