Teens Arrested In Victoria Ave. Home Takeover

Two Southern Ontario men face drug and weapons charges connected to a home takeover on Victoria Avenue.

Thunder Bay police say they found out about the takeover after getting reports of things like vandalism and drug use in the area between Simpson Street and May Street South.

During a patrol of the area on Thursday, officers learned about two suspects in the takeover. They got word that the suspects also had what police believed to be fentanyl, crack cocaine, oxycodone pills, along with cash and other items that pointed to drug trafficking.

Officers arrested the 17-year-old and 19-year-old later that day.
