TB Police Say Criminals Thrive Off Drug Trade

Thunder Bay police say criminal organizations such as Hell’s Angels will continue to exist, as long as there is a market of high addiction rates in the north feeding the drug trade.

The kidnapping of a 17-year old recently points to different types of groups wanting to thrive off the misery of others.

Spokesperson Chris Adams says Thunder Bay police will continue to adapt in the fight over the drug trade, adding it’s naive to think they wouldn’t continually try.

He adds as arrests are made, the gangs disappear, only to be replaced by others in the international criminal underworld.
