‘Strong’ Shipping Season Is Over

The shipping season in Thunder Bay has come to an end.

Officials with the Port of Thunder Bay tell us “the season featured notably higher
cargo shipments than the past several years.” They point to the total cargo tonnage of 9.3 million metric tonnes as being the highest since 2014.

About 430 domestic and foreign ships visited the port this season an increase of almost two dozen vessels.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
