Catholic teachers across the province say they will be walking off the job next Tuesday for one day.
The Ontario Engish Catholic Teachers Association will be staging a one-day strike on January 21st to pressure the Ford government into reaching a deal in the dispute which has centred around class sizes and wages.
All local English Catholic schools will be affected including elementary, senior elementary and high school.
The announcement comes on the same day OECTA started withdrawing from all administrative duties, including overseeing the Grade 9 EQAO math test.
