South Side Raid Uncovers Crack Cocaine, Cash

Four, including a pair of youths from Toronto, have future court appearances in a Thunder Bay courtroom.

Police raided the home on May Street South at about 6:20 p.m. Thursday and picked up suspected crack cocaine, cash, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

The estimated potential street value of drugs seized totals nearly $13,000.

A 30-year-old and 39-year-old from Thunder Bay were among the arrested.

The names of the youths are being withheld in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
