City staff want Council to add extra 700-thousand dollars into their winter road maintenance fund.
Councillor Larry Hebert says their hands are tied on the matter since it would be unsafe to stop plowing side roads.
Hebert says the past several winters have been doozies and the City was forced to dip into reserve funds to pay for the extra plowing.
