It was a successful Smile Cookie campaign at local Tim Hortons restaurants.
The owners of the restaurants presented two cheques of over $26,000 each to Toys for Tots and George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation.
The money was collected through their Smile Cookie campaign, which ran from September 17th to the 23rd.
The total amount raised was $53,984.00.
This was the first year the local Tim Hortons owners chose to donate to two local charities.
