Nobody was injured in a number of structural fires that Thunder Bay FIre Rescue responded to over the past day.
Firefighters say a shed was destroyed on Broadway Avenue in a fire that also spread to nearby trees, while on Empress Avenue a garage was moderately damaged by flames.
An apartment on Tupper Street was filled with smoke by smoldering couch cushions, and firefighters add they received another call that turned out to be a false alarm.
