Questions are being raised about exactly how many residents in the Kenora-Rainy River riding will be eligible for a provincial rural hydro rebate program.
Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell says her constituents need that 20 per cent reduction.
“When will the Premier tell us how many people in Kenora- Rainy River will actually the full 12 percent in rural rate relief and how many people will just get another high bill with government spin.”
Campbell says one women told her she can’t afford to pay her energy bill any longer.
Residents do get an 8 per cent reduction this January.
