COVID-19 has caused the Fort William Rotary House Lottery to be pushed until the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Officials say the pandemic has had a major impact on house lottery sales noting that March and April are usually their busiest months, and not holding Open Houses or selling at outlet locations has led to a sharp decline in sales.
This time last year, Rotary had sold about 61% of tickets, this year, they are at 32%.
The draw will take place on October 12th at the home at 317 South Creek Street.
