Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore a Heart Campaign is being considered a success.
They raised enough money to buy defibrillators for their worksites according to CEO Randy Moore.
“Thanks to the campaign we were able to purchase two AEDs, one which will be housed in a cabinet here at the ReStore and another that is portable and will go to our build sites.”
The fundraiser was created after the local organization had two cardiac incidents involving their volunteers in 2018.
The campaign was launched in February of this year and saw the Superior North Association of Professional Paramedics, BrokerLink and Buhler-Moore First Aid Services helped contribute to the ReStore a Heart Campaign.
