Former city police officer Michael Dimini has been sentenced to three years in prison for breach of trust and obstruction of justice.
The Crown asked for 15 to 18 months at Dimini’s sentencing hearing on Tuesday.
Justice Michael Block made the decision Wednesday morning.
Dimini’s lawyers say they will be appealing the conviction and the sentence.
