If you are in the Dog Lake area today or tomorrow, you may see local reservists conducting military manoeuvres.
Major James Meredith of the Lake Superior Scottish Regiment tells us a few dozen soldiers will be involved in ground and water exercises.
“We have a couple of boats, you’ll see some large MSBS vehicles, that’s the large green trucks. You’ll see other military kind of vehicles in the area, you’ll see tentage, command posts set up there.”
While there will be signs in the area of the military exercises, Major Meredith asks hunters to be on the alert since the soldiers will not be wearing blaze orange clothing.
Major Meredith says the manoeuvres will be taking place on the East Bay end of Dog Lake.
