Online lessons start on Monday for Lakehead Public School students.
The board is launching Phase 2 of the province’s Learn at Home plan while schools are closed for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lessons will be delivered digitally, but students who aren’t able to access their learning materials online can get paper copies of their lessons starting next week.
The board says teachers will be available daily to support students and families, and parents are not expected to homeschool their children. They add that devices will be sent out next week to families who need them.
Board officials are asking parents to be patient while they get the program fully set up.
