There is a new superintendant of education at the Lakehead Public School Board.
Michelle Probizanski will be officially taking over the position as of next week.
She was formally appointed by the board of trustees this afternoon.
Director of Education Ian MacRae, notes “as an administrator with experience in both the elementary and secondary panels, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position of superintendent of education.”
Probizanski is replacing Colleen Kappel who is retiring.
