As of Saturday the entire province could be in the Grey-Lockdown zone.
Multiple reports indicate the provincial government will put all of Ontario under lockdown for one month starting on Saturday at 12:01 am.
For the Thunder Bay region it doesn’t mean any change other than confirming 4 weeks of lockdown even if numbers continue to drop here. In Grey-Lockdown nonessential retail businesses can remain open with a 25 per cent capacity limit.
Premier Doug Ford said Wednesday he would have more to say Thursday on what steps will be taken to help curb the increase in COVID-19 cases in the province.
According to the reports the measure would also include not allowing hair and nail salons along with barbershops to reopen April 12th as previously promised.
Right now, parts of the province including Toronto, Hamilton and Thunder Bay are in lockdown.
