Province Training Staff At Regional Jails

The provincial government is moving to address increasing violence at the Thunder Bay and Kenora jails.

Solicitor General Sylvia Jones tells us more people are being trained, to help with the Institutional Crisis Intervention Teams.

She says three people will be instructed in Thunder Bay by the end of the year.

They will also work to address the increasingly complex and diverse make up of the inmate population.
