June A Busy Month For Port

More grain moved through the Port of Thunder Bay last month compared with the same time last year.

Port official Tim Heney says it’s partly because of a ten-fold increase in canola exports through the port.

More canola is being shipped from Thunder Bay to Europe and Latin America, after China stopped accepting Canadian canola shipments.

Grain volumes have been increasing for the last three months.
