Popular India Festivals Postponed

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced organizers of the Festival of India and the Festival of Colours to postpone the events.

Spokesperson Prashant Jani says they will now be held later in the summer.

“The original dates were July 17th and 18th but we are now changing the dates to September 5th and 6th” notes Jani.

The festival organizer says it was a big endeavour to move the dates since they had to contact everyone involved like the performers, the City of Thunder Bay and all the volunteers.

Jani, who is a doctor at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, calls COVID-19 “A health crisis for the entire of mankind.”

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
