Police Won’t Be Charged After Arrest

Thunder Bay police have been cleared of any wrong-doing after a man was hurt in the south end.

The Special Investigations Unit says police were called to the May Street area on February 29th, concerning a 45-year-old man armed with a hunting knife, and walking around breaking windows.

After failed attempts to get his attention, police followed him to the parking area of the Victoriaville Mall. The SUI adds police found him with multiple fractures after he fell.

The SUI has ruled no charges will be laid against Thunder Bay police.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
