Two people are recovering from what police say are apparent stab wounds following a weekend house party.
Thunder Bay police say they were called to a Highgate Road address, near Oliver and Mapleward, just after midnight into Saturday morning, to reports of a major disturbance.
While police were heading there, they say they came across two vehicles heading to the hospital, with two victims of the assault on Highgate Road. Once police arrived at the house, they found many people involved in the disturbance, but say they charged a 20-year-old Hamilton man with aggravated assault.
Issa Becher Bechir remains in custody in Thunder Bay, with the Major Crime’s Unit investigating.
