The OPP is requesting the public’s assistance on behalf of the provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E) in locating a federal offender.
Denis Bernard is described as an Indigenous Male who is 40 years old, 5’11, 150 lbs, with black hair in braids and brown eyes.
Bernard has several tattoos including:
- Front of neck – “Jazz”
- Left and right Arm – Bear paws
- Left upper arm – Skull
- Right arm – Tribal art skull
- Right forearm – “One, Nish” and a skull w/ safety pin through it
- Right and left forearm – Feathers
- Right upper arm – Denis
- Right thumb – “NS”
- Abdomen – “Merciless”
He is serving a 2-year, 8-month, and 15-day sentence for manslaughter.
The offender is known to frequent the Thunder Bay area.
