A Thunder Bay resident is facing child pornography charges following an investigation by city police.
In September an investigation began after police received a report that a resident was suspected of sharing files containing child sexual abuse material.
The suspect’s home was searched last month and one electronic device was seized for examination.
As a result of the investigation, the suspect a 31-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday.
The accused is being charged with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
They remain in custody with a future court date.
