A 44-year old police officer in southern Ontario remains in critical condition following a shooting in the Niagara Region.
The province’s Special Investigations Unit tells us it happened yesterday afternoon when two officers were looking into a collision on a country road that had happened a few days earlier.
The officers got into an altercation with each other, when a gun was fired.
Media reports indicate no arrests have been made at this point.
