For the eighth time this year, Thunder Bay Police are investigating a threat at Hammarskjold High School.
It is again closed for the day and students were sent home.
Richard Moorey is a parent of a student at the school and wishes the police would shed more light on their investigation.
He understands police need to keep certain aspects of the case secret, but “parents just want a little bit of information” because Moorey says it’s frustrating not knowing what is being done to help bring an end to the situation.
The Hammarskjold parent hopes some kind of community participation will lead to an end to the threats.
Due to an anonymous threat received by Thunder Bay Police, Hammarskjold HS will be closed for today, Fri Apr 5. All efforts will be made to reopen on Mon Apr 8. Buses will be returning to the school to take students home as per afternoon run. #LPStb #tbay
