The OPP confirm that a 67-year-old man from Red Lake was mauled by a black bear.
Peter Franczak was killed last Friday while blueberry picking on Tuzyk Road near Highway 105.
Police found the bear nearby the berry picker and had it killed.
It then sent it’s the body to Guelph for testing.
