Pilot Identified In Fatal Crash

We now know the identity of the pilot who was killed in a plane crash at the Thunder Bay Airport this Monday.

He was Peter Balodis, according to a social media post from the 374 F/L Chisholm Squadron Royal Canadian Air Cadets in Pictou County, Nova Scotia.

They say they’re saddened by his death, noting he graduated from the squadron in 2008.

He was 30 years old.
