Phone Scammers Claim To Be OPP

A heads up from provincial police about yet more attempts by scammers to get your information by phone.

Police have tweeted several people continue to get calls with the caller ID showing the hashtag #ThunderBayOPP.

The caller claims to be a police officer, but OPP stress they’ll never call you about banking or SIN numbers.
