Former Thunder Bay City councillor Larry Hebert has been charged with attempted murder.
It is reportedly in connection with what was called a ‘serious incident’ at a residence on the 400 block of south Vickers street around 3:15 yesterday afternoon.
Police say a man attacked and threatened another individual inside the home. The victim was able to run to a nearby home and call 911.
The three-term councillor is due back in court on December 16th. There is a media ban in place covering many of the details of the court proceedings.
