A rescue in the Township of Shuniah.
Shuniah Fire is reporting an injured person was freed at the falls near McKenzie Heights Road around the supper hour yesterday.
Rescuers had to trudge through the bush to get to the patient.
About two hours later the person was taken out to a waiting ambulance and rushed to hospital.
There is no word on the person’s condition or how they ended up in their predicament.
