PC MPP Defends School Opening Plan

The Ford government continues to maintain its return to school plan is the right way to go.

Sam Oosterhoff, the parliamentary secretary to Education Minister Stephen Lecce, believes the openings last week went smoothly and safely.

“We’ve seen a robust plan that’s been rolled out across the province recognizing there are different needs in different parts of the province. Thunder Bay is very different from Niagara which is different from Hamilton,” explains Oosterhoff.

The PC MPP stresses flexibility has been built into the plan adding, “Not every board has returned, there are some…rolling out in coming weeks, but all in all, we’ve heard very good things from both parents, students and educators alike.”

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
