Kenora OPP Find Missing Teens

Update 11am, Monday:

Good news from provincial police in their search for two missing teenagers in the Kenora area is over.

They first alerted us about their concern for 13-year-old Teesha Payash, last seen at around the noon hour on Friday. She has been found safe.

Police were also concerned for the whereabouts of 17-year-old Jasmine Keewatin.

She was last seen just before 2 o’clock, the same day. She, also, has been found safe.

Police have not told us whether their initial disappearances are linked, and there is no further detail available.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
