Parking tickets will replace written warnings in Thunder Bay

The City of Thunder Bay is issuing parking tickets and doing away with first-time written warnings.

Within the past few months, the city has been providing written warnings for those who park in zones that are no longer or where parking regulations have changed.

Those warnings will now be ceased, and enforcement officers will issue parking tickets.

City Manager, John Collin, said in last night’s City Council meeting that this will be the last of parking changes for the rest of the cycle.

This change will come into effect starting Thursday.
