One of the most iconic video games of all-time turns 40 this month. Pac Man was first released in Japan in May of 1980, and hit arcades in North America in December of that year, and has been going strong ever since in various incarnations. I always LOVED playing the sit-down version of Miss Pac Man at the LU Pub back in the day!
With all of the isolating going on, Google has been doing us a solid and providing games to play! The daily Google Doodle on the homepage has been running a Stay and Play at Home with Popular Past Doodles feature, giving uses the opportunity to play some of their past interactive games. Today is the last in that series and they’re throwing back to one of their most popular, their 2010 celebration of Pac Man’s 30th Anniversary.
I’ve spent way more time on this today than I should have. To run from the ghosts, and a variety of other games, click the Pac Man Google Doodle below!
