A suspect is in custody in connection with two break-ins at the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

A 40-year-old Thunder Bay man was arrested on Wednesday and is charged with two counts of breaking and entering, breach of probation, and taking a motor vehicle without consent.

Police were called to the Health Unit for a reported break-in that happened in the early morning hours of August 2, 2019, where a man entered the building and took undisclosed items.

They responded to a similar incident on February 28 of this year, and connected the suspect to both cases.
