COVID-19 outbreaks are over at two locations in the city.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit tells us the outbreak has ended at the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre on Highway 61.
Health officials say “Ongoing planning and work is being done with the facility and the Ministry of the Solicitor General to ensure all measures are in place to protect the staff, inmates and the community going forward.”
They also say there are no more additional coronavirus cases associated with McKellar Park Central Public School and that “There is no evidence of additional spread within the school setting.”
