OPP are expressing concern with the number of charges and fatalities in Ontario this summer.
More than 11-hundred charges have been laid for such things as impaired driving, dangerous driving and street racing since the end of June.
Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says the public has a role to be safer.
“We are out there doing our patrols every day. We are trying to encourage safe behaviour and when we see unsafe behaviour we are enforcing the law.”
Thirty-two people have also died in accidents this summer.
