OPP Lay Break & Enter Charges

Ontario Provincial Police responded to two reported break-and-enters this week.

A Sandy Lake First Nation man is facing charges after Thunder Bay OPP were called to a Shabaqua business. They responded to a report of a suspicious man outside the business just before 6 AM Friday.

After investigating, they have laid charges of break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Earlier in the week, OPP got a report of an unwanted man at an O’Connor Township residence on Wednesday just before noon.

They arrived to find a man trying to get into the home, and put him under arrest.

While officers were talking to the residents, they say the man tried to leave in a vehicle but got stuck in the driveway.

He’s charged with impaired driving, mischief, break and enter, and uttering threats.
