A city police officer is being recognized for his good work on New Years Eve.
Constable Trevor Lind responded to a call from EMS to help with an unconscious woman who cut her wrists.
When police arrived on the scene, the woman had woken up and was threatening to jump off the roof of an apartment building.
Lind made his way to the woman and was able to grab her before she could jump.
Lind received the Police Chief’s praise at a recent police service board meeting. (Photo supplied)
