Victor Nathaniel Henry Pelletier

It is in great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Victor Nathaniel Henry Pelletier at the age of 55. Vic was a proud member of Fort William First Nation. He was born July 31, 1970.

He was also known as Hys or Hyson to family and friends. He enjoyed watching hockey, baseball, and his favourite was spending time with Dad watching wrestling. One of Vic’s greatest joys was his nephews and nieces.

Vic had many jobs, from firefighting, to working with the union as a labourer. He also devoted many years to assisting his father in the church; attending by his side to funerals, weddings, opening prayers, and weekly church services.

Victor is survived by his father, Reverend Mr. Victor Pelletier Sr, siblings Kelvin (Denise), Anne (Rocky), Shelley (Wil), and Tara (Scott), nephews and nieces Amanda, Jesse, Cody, Krystal, Kelvin Jr, Jasmine, Zamber, Savannah, Camryn, Luke, Matthew, and Max. Plus many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He also left behind his trusted fur baby, Big Boy, that never left his side.

Vic was predeceased by his beloved mother Maureen Pelletier, brother Timmy, nephews John Labelle, and Shay Boucher, Grandparents Frank and Kathleen Pelletier, and Patrick and Annie McGuire.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at 11:00 am in St. Anne’s Mission Church, celebrated by Rev. Biju Mathew. Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Visitation for friends will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in St. Anne’s Mission Church, with Vigil Prayers being held at 7:00 pm.
