Paul Colosimo

he family is heartbroken to announce that Paul Colosimo of Murillo, Ontario, passed away unexpectedly of a sudden heart attack on Saturday, April 25th, 2026. Paul was born on March 27th, 1959 in Fort William.

Paul had many wonderful qualities. He was hard working, outgoing, adventurous, caring and thoughtful. He had numerous friends, a warm heart and was always willing to help others. He took immense pride in any work he did, especially in his ability to repair and restore all types of vehicles. He had a passion for Stock Car Racing. He knew how to modify each car to ensure peak performance in order to strive for the next big Win. Paul won many races in his day and was hard to beat. He was known as the bomber, #77 racing in his 1968 Beaumont.

Paul loved riding his Harley, enjoyed downhill speed skiing and had a passion for Chariot racing. He was always up for an adventure and loved anything fast!

Paul had an incredible father’s love for his daughter Tori-Ann Colosimo, he was proud of her & took pride in sharing all her achievements. Having a need for speed like her Dad. Paul supported her in everything she did, especially her passion for Training horses & Barrel racing. He was an amazing Father, friend, and mentor to her in daily phone conversations & countless father daughter adventures over the years.

He was a loving and caring partner to Janie. He helped her prepare her gardens & supported all her work endeavors. He built them both a little bunky & a Sauna at their home to enjoy daily. They spent every day together enjoying activities and each other’s company. Paul and Janie shared a strong everlasting loving bond that can be hard to find.

Paul Colosimo is survived by his partner Janie Swearengen (Sheleena, Ashley, Krista), his daughter Tori Ann Colosimo(Cody), his mother Anita Colosimo, sister Karen Kutchyera (Warren), brothers Michael & Mark Colosimo, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all.
