We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Mrs. Marlene Bell (nee Martyn), age 90 years, resident of Thunder Bay, Ontario, on October 25, 2025.  Marlene was born on August 24, 1935 to Rolland and Edith Martyn in Murillo, Ontario, and was raised with her siblings on the family farm.  Her main enjoyment was baking, especially at Christmas, and was well known for her Christmas Rum cakes.  She enjoyed making memories camping and fishing with her family and friends as well as trips south of the border to the casino in Hinckley. After retirement she and Jimmy enjoyed travelling to Alaska and across Canada.  Marlene is survived by her daughters Denise and Diane Bell (Sheldon). Grandchildren Jonathon (Meagan), Danielle (Robert) and Kayla Rae  (Ben). Great grandchildren Trey, Ryder, Penelope and Jackson.  Cremation and internment have taken place. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
