January 1st, 1975 – November 2, 2026
Mrs. Lorianna McNally, nee DiFelice, known lovingly to many as Lori, passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay, Ontario, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength. Born on January 1, 1975, in Thunder Bay, Lori lived a life rooted in faith, devotion to her family, and a warm generosity that touched all who knew her.
Lori was a loving, friendly, and creative woman whose presence brought comfort and joy to those around her. She carried herself with grace and sincerity, and her gentle spirit made her a blessing in the lives of her family, friends, and community. As a Roman Catholic, she lived with a heart that reflected compassion, humility, and trust in God’s care. Her life was a testimony to the beauty of serving others with patience and love, and she will be remembered for the sincerity with which she met each day.
For many years, Lori worked at Home Hardware, where she was respected for her dedication, reliability, and kind nature. On October 24, 1998 she married her soulmate, Stephen McNally. In 1999 they welcomed Ty McNally and in 2002 they welcomed Amy McNally. In 2007, she made the heartfelt decision to devote her time to being a stay-at-home mother to her two beautiful children, a role she embraced with devotion and joy. This choice reflected the depth of her love for her family and the importance she placed on being present for the moments that mattered most. Her home was a place of warmth, care, and the aroma of Italian cuisine, built by her caring hands and loving heart.
Lori found happiness in the simple and meaningful things of life. She enjoyed spending her time doing crafts, especially crosstitching, knitting, crocheting, and more recently diamond dots. These creative pursuits reflected her patience, skill, and appreciation for beauty in small details. For years, she also played baseball, enjoyed going to bingo, and loved camping. These activities brought her laughter, companionship, and cherished memories. She also treasured the opportunity to travel, and her journeys to Italy, Cuba, and New Orleans added joy and wonder to her life. These experiences enriched her spirit and gave her stories to share with those she loved. Especially her trip to Cuba in which she celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary to her loving and devoted husband, Steve.
Along with her children and husband, Lori also shared a very close bond with her god-daughter Vanessa Rojik. From caring for her as an infant to playing with her as she grew, babysitting when needed, travelling together to Cuba, having Vanessa stand by her and Steve as they renewed their wedding vows in Cuba and making gnocchi together. These memories will live forever with Vanessa and aunty Lori will never be forgotten.
Above all, Lori will be remembered for the love she gave so freely. She was a devoted mother, a cherished family member, and a faithful friend. Her life was marked by kindness and a genuine concern for others. She had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, and her friendly nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her creative talents and joyful spirit were gifts that she shared generously, and her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration.
In times of sorrow, we are reminded of the hope and promise of eternal life through Christ. Lori’s faith was an important part of who she was, and it offers peace to those who mourn her passing. As Scripture reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). May those who grieve take comfort in the knowledge that she is now in the loving presence of her Savior, where there is no pain, no sorrow, and no more parting.
Lori’s memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, woven into the lives she touched with her warmth and devotion.
Lori is survived by her husband Stephen McNally, children Ty McNally and Amy McNally, her brothers Tony DiFelice and Angleo DiFelice, her god-daughter Vanessa Rojik, best friend Belva Rojik, nieces and nephews Natasha, Tasha, Jenny, Chris and Caroline. Lori is predeceased by her mother Iolanda DiFelice.
Though her time on earth has come to an end, Lori’s influence will continue through the love she shared, the family she nurtured, and the many memories she created. Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, family, and kindness. May she rest in the peace of God’s eternal care, and may her loved ones find strength in the promises of the Catholic faith and comfort in the lasting legacy she leaves behind.
