Leonard Felbel, resident of Southbridge Pinewood, peacefully passed on January 20,2026.

Born in Silver Bay Manitoba July 4, 1929 son of Hermann and Adeline Felbel

He met the love of his life Thelma Barrett at a South Gillies dance which led to 51 years of marriage and 4 sons: Garry (Susan) Robert (Lynda) Richard (Sherry) Glen (Branwen). Blessed with 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

In 1988 Leonard retired from Great Lakes Paper after 32 years. Leonard enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, watching Nascar racing, travelling and puttering in his garage. Time with family was what he liked best. Survived by brother Ed 

(Shirley) sisters Ella Koch, Lillian Leslie, Wilma Reist (Dave), Helen Conlon (Tom) sister in-laws Judie Felbel, Loraine Felbel. 

Predeceased by his wife Thelma, his three brothers Gerhardt, Ernie, and Walter.

Service conducted by The Reverand Nancy Ringham. The family thanks you for you guidance and support.

Funeral service will be held at Sargent & Sons 21 North Court Street Thunder Bay on January 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM
