It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gwendolyn Jaworski, age 59. Gwen lost her battle with lung cancer on December 16th, 2025 with her loving husband by her side.

Gwen cherished her husband, family and friends very much. She felt their love, especially during the last few weeks of her life as they connected with her.

Gwen recently took up gardening for the purpose of canning. She was looking forward to experimenting further with planting a variety of vegetables. She enjoyed camping at Cushing Lake and even planted a tomato garden there. Gwen was an avid bingo player and always enjoyed a night out with Steve when they played Pool in a league.

Gwen is survived by her loving husband, Steve, their children Kyle (Katie), Krystin (Tyler), Brandon and Brent, Erin (Ben) and Lindsey (DJ). She is also survived by her siblings Sabrina and Dolina, many nieces and nephews and 9 grandchildren.

We would like to express many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Cancer Clinic, and the Emergency and Oncology Units of the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for their compassionate and exemplary care of Gwen this past year.

Gwen chose not to have a service. Please celebrate her life and keep her in your hearts this holiday season. Gwen will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.
