Clara has been received into the arms of the Lord forever after passing away peacefully in hospital on February 11, 2026.  Born in Ferland, Ontario, she resided in Armstrong before moving to Thunder Bay.  Clara was a kind, giving, caring person, always helping those in need.  She enjoyed playing bingo and playing cards.  She attended Sunday Mass regularly at St. Andrew’s Church where she was loved and cherished by all young and old.  A kind, beautiful lady who will be missed by all who knew her.  She is survived by her daughter Jessie Laforest, sisters Christine and Stella, partner Iain, two grandsons Mark and Adam, two great grandsons Kingston and Jet, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  Thank you to Dr. Murray and Dr. Probizanski for their excellent care over the past several years.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew’s R.C.
