Some Health Unit nurses are helping Shelter House today.
The Ontario Nurses’ Association says they’ve collected donations while on the picket line and will drop them off at the shelter this evening.
They’ll bring donated toiletries, warm socks, and other supplies.
The union says they and some retired nurses in the region will also volunteer preparing and serving dinner at the shelter.
