Our region’s best and brightest young professionals will once again be celebrated in the Northwestern Ontario Visionary Awards.
Organizers say holding these awards helps shine a light on the homegrown talent we have.
Organizer Lexie Penko tells us they have a number of award categories on hand this year.
“Young professionals can be nominated for a Community Champion, or for their leadership, or their professional achievements. There’s also recognition for civic pride, [and] Rising Star–that is, a younger young professional under 30.”
To date, the NOVAs have highlighted 300 nominees and 80 award-winning individuals since 2012.
