Northwest Monitor, May 5/19

If you spend much time in your local library, you may have noticed some unease in recent weeks after some provincial budget changes.

Some libraries in the region say they’re troubled after an organization that provides a number of services for them had its budget drastically reduced.

Caroline Redston brings us the reactions from the heads of two libraries serving Thunder Bay and the surrounding communities.

Tomorrow marks the start of Mental Health Week, with a major awareness campaign starting across northwestern Ontario.
